Most important: Great hotel for the price.
CONS: No temperature control on the heater, so you have to crack open a window with the heater on or it gets too hot! This is the front desk's actual advice. Seems like a waste of energy to me.
The night guy at the front desk spoke English but knew very little. I asked him about the location of a twotwo chicken, a popular food chain, and he literally just laughed and said "I don't know" (This was even after I drew a picture of the logo) like my question was stupid. He didn't attempt to find out the information on internet either. Ten minutes of walking without and direction, and I found one.
Not enough towels.
Lobby doesn't look very nice.
Even with the map the hotel gave us with its location, cab drivers often had trouble finding it.
PROS: High ceilings! The room was so spacious. Quiet too.
A kitchen with utilities, including a microwave and a toaster oven.
Modern shower. Everything looked modern actually.
Nice big TV with plenty to watch, including English movies.
Heated wooden floors.
Really close walk to the subway.
Right next to a Family Mart convenient store open 24 hours.
Close taxi ride to the limousine shuttle port, where you can take a non stop trip to Incheon Airport.
The day girl was great. She tried really hard to help us with information on anything we asked and she was very pleasant. Her name is Kimyeong I think.
TIPS: The Korean restaurant across the alley street from the hotel is delicious. Kimyeong recommended it.
Turn left down the alley street from the hotel entrance. You will come to a main street with a 24 hour burger king. To the right of the burger king is a street full of bars, restaurants,, and PC cafes open late into the night if you don't want to travel too far from your hotel but still want to have fun. Try Wa Bar. Western bar with good finger foods. Good cocktails.
