The receptionist at the check-in counter was very rude and abrasive, but the room was fine. The linens were clean, the toiletries they left us were nice, and we liked the bathroom because it had a nice jacuzzi tub.

Good option
Our first time to Seoul and it was made very easy with AsiaRooms and also the Hotel Dodo. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. For a couple nights stay it certainly worth it.

Value for the price
Our accommodations were as expected from the reviews on the internet. The room was comfortable and clean although the closed entry way smelled musty. Closet space was lacking and there was one small window that you couldn't see out of. The large screen TV and computer with internet in the room were a plus. This was supposed to be a non smoking room, but there were ashtrays by the elevator and in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close to shopping, food options and the Soel metro lines. Overall, we didn't expect first class for the price but felt that the value was there and would book with this hotel again.

um it is a little on the love hotel side. the room was clean though our friends who booked another room(double) had no window. the bath tub is large but not one that i would want to take a bath in.
it was close to the subway though, but the area is not one that is very lively.
their was a computer with internet though it was the slowest computer you can imagine. tvs large with a variety of channels but we didnt spend to much time in the room, just sleep and leave.

Everything is almost as it's described in other reviews. The nearest subway is actually quite near, it's just that it might be a little difficult to find on your first visit. It is value for money, if you are planning for something with a small budget yet comfortable. The facilities were great. The only downsides for me would be the smaller than I imagined lobby, and the green or orange lights that they have along the corridor.

good value for seoul
excellent room with free mini bar refilled each day. large tv, private computer, whirlpool bathtub. 15min walk to nearest metro station, 5min to pickup point for the airport shuttle bus (9000won). staff speak reasonable english, very polite. hard to find similar value for price paid. only downside is that the room is fairly dark even with all lights on (as with all "love motels")

The staffs are friendly. Room is well equiped with heater, airconditioning, huge lcd tv, a pc, bath room with jacuzzi. Would recommend all for those who are on budget tour. :)

A decent inexpensive stay, 5 minutes walk from Singil Station exit 3, desktop computer in room, large flat screen tv. My only complaint would be the air conditioning was a bit underpowered but maybe I had it on the wrong setting as the buttons & display were in Korean.

The Dodo Tourist Hotel is a great...
The Dodo Tourist Hotel is a great place to stay while visiting Seoul. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I checked into the hotel they spoke to me in English, and guided me to my room and explained how to use the equiptment. ( Everything is controlled by a remote controller; lights, airconditioner, surround sound, and a giant flat screen television.) The room also has a computer that has many new movies on DVD which can be watched on the TV screen and listened to through stereo surround sound. My first day the weather was lightly rainny, and the staff provided me with a complimentary umbrella free of charge. There are two metro stations that are about a ten minute walk from the hotel in opposite directions. However, there are plenty of taxis available almost in seconds from the hotel front door. I did eat lunch at the hotel on one occasion. Western food is available, but I had a traditional Korean lunch. It was very good and very cheap. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others. Sincerely, John Heinser

Wasnt bad... we enjoyed it... the map...
Wasnt bad... we enjoyed it... the map on this website is wrong... put the address in google maps and it will find it for you... we were lost for well over 30mins... location isnt bad, not far from youngdeungpo (lots of restaurants!)
