Excellent Choice!
Best hotel I'd ever stayed. Excellent location - right in the middle of shopping district with underground station and airport bus stop at the doorstep. Love the free wifi which is available anywhere in the hotel (not just at the lobby). The free hot and cold water dispenser is an excellent idea help to save $ from buying drinking water. Room temperature control is controlled centrally but the room's window can be opened electronically (at an angle that's safe for adults and children) to allow fresh air in. We went in late March and it was very cold still but with the central heating and a bit of fresh air through the slight opened window, the temperature and humidity was just right. We thought this's a very clever idea! Staff were very friendly, helpful and could speak English. The only minor drawback is that the hotel logo is on the side of the building facing the alley. We missed that completely after alighting from the bus. We walked around the hotel and asked people but finally we got to the ground floor reception By the way, the actual hotel front desk is on 19 floor which is different from most hotels. But still, we still consider it's the best hotel we stayed so far. Overall a very satifying experience and we strongly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Very well located. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, buses, subway, departmental store etc..

right choice
Hotel is strategically located for shopping and business center. Transportation is very convenient as the MRT line are just outside the hotel. The Airport limousine bus stops right in front of the hotel and that makes it easier for us to travel to and from the Inchoen Airport.
The rooms are very clean and the hotel service staffs are polite and speak English ( that is absolutely a relief !)
Yes, I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.
Good Value
For the price I paid for the hotel and its magnificent location in Seoul's shopping district, I'd recommend Ibis to family and friends. Accommodations are clean. Staff are friendly. And best of all, the internet connection in the room is free!

Location is perfect, Myeondong and Namdaemun are all within 10 mins walking disctance, lots of restaurants/bars surronding Ibis hotel. The size of the room/bathroom/TV are a bit too small, but if you are there for shoppping and sight seeing, those problems mentioned are very minor. Staff speaks good english and friendly too, strongly recommended..
Excellent location right in the heart of...
Excellent location right in the heart of the busy Myeongdong area. The airport shuttle bus to and from the international airport stops and leaves from right outside the hotel. International tellar machines located next to the coffee shop next door (foyer of the bank building). Terrific views of the city and all the action. Walking distance to a number of palaces, observation tower, shopping, restaurants, Nanta Theatre etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint was there was a little bit of mould in the bathroom and the towels were a bit scrathcy, but the benefits far outweighed these small details. The room is also a great size with a lock-up safe. Will definately stay there again!

My hubby and i stayed for 5 nights from 22-27 March 2010.This hotel is awesome..location fantastic for shopping...no worries for caring big and heavy bags around because we can just go back hotel to dump all de shopping back to the room and continue shop again ..after each meals and afternoon tea we can just drop by hotel again for toilet break..its so convenient.Thumbs up for all the staff in this hotel ..their service is truly excelent!All of the staff in this hotel is so helpful and genuine to deliver their service.We really enjoyed our stay in Ibis Myeongdong hotel and we definitely will come back again!!
This is a good hotel for first...
This is a good hotel for first timers in Seoul because it is so convenient. It's right smack in the shopping belt of myeondong. It is 3 mins to subway and most importantly, the airport bus stops right in front of hotel.
