I had book to stay on the 2-5-2012 in Vabien Suit II.
I had infomed the hotel that I will be arriving late and to will check in late - at 11.00pm.
Upon checking in, as my flight was on 6.40pm , I had requested for a late check out at 2.00pm, the reply was "YES", I am able to check out late - after further asking any charges was then told there will be a cost of 11,000 korean won per hours.
Hoping all future guest to ask answer and not to assume that the front staff understand our English words that we mean to prevent dispute.
And during the on line booking, no where will indiacted that Breakfast was not include??

The hotel location is very convenient with the Soedaemun subway station just about 50m away. This station connects you to most shopping belts easily. The airport bus (6005) also stops just outside the hotel and costs only KW10,000 per pax per trip. Taxi fares from hotel to most shopping areas like Myeong-dong, Dongdaemun, Namdaemun, Ewha Women's University, Sinchon, etc. costs only slightly more than KW3,000.
I stayed 3 nights in a Superior room and 2 nights in a Standard room. The Superior room is quite spacious but the Standard room is a little cramp. The rooms are reasonably clean but the housekeeping standard is not very good. They couldn't get me power outlet adapters and used cups left on the sink were not washed.
Wireless WIFI only available in the lobby or registration level (3) although certain rooms may be able to connect. Wired internet connection is free!
Breakfast spread is poor. Food outlets in the vicinity are not very interesting too. So, better eat out before returning to hotel.
Overall, it is a value-for-money place to stay in if you just want a convenient place to stay for shopping trips.

very good location, close to MTR and bus station Just infront of the hotel. very eazy to find food and seven eleven it's just on the first floor ..the location close to everything you wanna go : the palace, the market and shopping area if you go with family or 3-4 people you can take a taxi is more save money. very good for long stay because it's everything in your room : TV, Air con,Heater, washing machine,Ironning,living room and kitchen
Linen and room are very clean !
Staff was not too bad, they were helpful and can speak English. they not help to take the suitcase to your room .you have to do it by yourself which is diffirenrt from the other country.i dont know why ? may be it's because of the service Apartment(not Hotel ) in Thailand event we stay in service apartment the staff still help us to take the suitcase to the room (this's call service )
Any way i would stay there again for my next visit
Not a bad place to stay
Good location for business (Seoul has two business centres, so this one was conveniently placed for the one north of the river) and right next to a subway station. My room was spacious, had a decent kitchen and bathroom. All rooms seem to have broadband access as well which is really useful. There is also a 24hour convenience store downstairs, which was really useful. The only things I had issues with were:
- my room wasn't cleaned everyday (very irregular pattern of cleaning - room was cleaned the first 2 days, then not cleaned the next, then cleaned, then not cleaned for 3 days), but they did have enough clean towels for me to use
- room thermostat didn't seem to be able to control the temperature - my room was boiling in the mornings
- the website makes out they have a gym, but you have to pay US$12 each time you want to use it.
All in all though, it wasn't a bad place to stay. Would probably recommend it for business and/or pleasure because of its location and decent state of rooms.
we choose this Vabien because it is service apartment, bigger than hotel and more comfortable like a home. it has small kitchen with kitchenett, washing machine (eventhought we didn't use it) and DVD player. and after all it's locate in good location, convenient access to subway - 2 min walk and the airport bus is in front of the Vabien (7-eleven shop). there are many restaurants nearby and you can choose from low to high price. one thing that i would comment is the service of front desk, she is little service mind,less provide general information to the guests i.e. where the room are, how to go to our room, where is the nearest subway etc. but overall is o.k. she can speak english, that is very help.
