Summary
The Vilar Rural de Cardona is a hotel which resembles a small village providing all the comforts and services offered by a 3-star hotel. It is located on a hill dominating the Cardener Valley, in front of the downtown and the Cardona Castle.
The main building is in the middle of the village. It houses the common amenities: restaurant, coffee bar and multi-purpose rooms all provide excellent panoramic views. They are fully equipped for conferences. The other buildings house the 100 rooms of the Vilar Rural de Cardona.
The surroundings of the hotel are closely related to the natural surroundings of the area where there is a place to perform different kinds of activities, a farm and a pond. There are two swimming pools, one for adults (which is climate-controlled) and another for children. Its viewpoint offers superb views: on the left, Port del Comte, Cadi mountain range, Bussa mountain range, Pedraforca, Rassos de Peguera and Queralt mountain range; opposite, Cardona's castle and, on the right, Montserrat.
