Summary
The Santa Catalina Hotel is one of the most traditional hotels of Las Palmas. It was built in 1890 under the supervision of a prestigious Irish architect, Mr. Mac Laren, who was an admirer of the exotic landscape of the city. Since then, the hotel has been a cultural icon of the island and a prestigious social venue which has hosted many famous artists and politicians.
