Metro ( underground , tube , subway ) is the most efficient and cheap way to move around Madrid .

Its Gran Via station ( line 1 ) is just 150 meters from the hostal Also available alongside the Gran Via are many bus lines which serve other downtown districts and madrid outskirts.
From Barajas airport take line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios station ( end of the line) and transfer to line 10 ( Puerta del Sur direction ) which its Tribunal station which is just amere 10 minutes walk from th Hostal .

Alternatively - particulaPuerta del Sol , Plaza Mayor , Plaza Cibeles , Plaza España are within a short distance and a little further the Palacio Real , the Opera House , the Parliament as well as the main museums of the Prado , Thyssen and Reina Sofía just minutes away from the Retiro Park , madrid´s NY Central Park or London Hyde Park.
The Hostal is in the verge of Chueca distric , the gay area of the city which terraced bars in its main square allows the enjoyment of the summer sun and the vibrating evenings-nights .
