Summary
The Parador Hotel was built in 1979. Around the remains of the old 14th century romanesque church convent of Santo Domingo of which the impressive cloisters have been preserved. The town of Seo De Urgel lies in a very fertile valley between the rivers segre and valira and is surrounded by the high mountains of the sierras of Arcabell and cadi. The most important monument of the town is the 12th century romanesque cathedral of santa maria where one can find an interesting collection of relics.
