The common way of getting to Toledo from outside Spain is by the International Airport of Madrid-Barajas.
Toledo is 65 kilometers far from Madrid and a highway easily connects both cities.
The recommended Transport from the airport to Toledo is by car.
Any wise, three alternatives are proposed to reach Toledo:1.2.1 Car RentalIn case of choosing this option, the best route to take is as follows: Once out of the airport car rental parking, join up M-14 from the local airport road.
Then exit M-14 looking for M-40 highway (A-3, A-4 and A-42 (N-410) direction) and join up M-22.
Exit M-22 and join up M-40.
Drive through M-40 up to A-42 (N-410).
Then take exit 25 to A-42 (N-410) towards Toledo and after 30 minutes you will be there.
Once you are seeing Toledo, take exit 68B.
Please, take care with the designation of the old N-410 that has been changed to A-42 recently.
Both names are for the same road (Madrid-Toledo).
May be you could find both designations used in the traffic indicators.
