Summary
The Mas De Torrent Hotel was built in 1751.It is a hyper-luxury hotel that came into being as a result of the renovation of an old Catalan masía, or farmhouse, dating from the eighteenth century. It's a short drive from the Costa Brava and only an hour and a half from Barcelona. Rooms are divided between the farmhouse itself - tastefully done up, with stucco walls, gothic windows and rustic furniture - and the grounds, with bungalows and suites scattered through the peaceful gardens.
