Summary
De Berne Hotel , Geneva , four star hotel , was built in 1964 to meet the growing demand for reasonably-priced first class hotels.
In 1975, the installation of sound proofed double-glazing windows together with the air-conditioning in each room, made Berne Hotel Geneva one of the most appreciated four-star hotels in the city.
In 1985 the ground-floor was completely redesigned and in addition to the restaurant a new grill-bar was created.
To meet the demands of even the most exacting guest, all bathrooms where replaced by much more modern units in 1990 and in 1994 the entire lobby area was redesigned.
The recent installation of a parabolic antenna allows to be relayed by satellite by a large number of foreign TV stations .
