This historical hotel is similar to a “bed and breakfast”. It is located in the heart of Romainmôtier and has a traditional building dating back to the 16th century.

It features a lovely garden with a stream and has non smoking rooms. The main living room is equipped with a piano and fire place. Breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beautiful breakfast room with wooden interior. All rooms are en suite and have a special ambiance with romantic antique furniture. They are spacious and cozy.

The owners knew how to preserve the wall and ceiling paintings, the “Kachelöfen” (tiled stoves) and the lovely garden next to the prior’s house.

The hotel received a special award from the ICOMOS (International Council for Monuments and Sites) in 2009 for its historic architecture.
