The Hotel Scaletta has preserved its authentic originality, just like the traditional Engadine village of S-chanf. The oldest inn in the area is now a comfortable Sports hotel.

The newly built rooms in white spruce (arven) wood offer all the comforts necessary to guarantee a relaxing and unforgettable holiday in the Engadine.

In the cosy Arven tavern the hotel serves local and Italian specialities. The Cheese Bar serves fondue and raclette both in summer and winter alike.

The hotel also includes a big terrace in summer, conference and seminar rooms, private parking and a garage for bikes and motorbikes.

Spacious rooms with views of either the Val Trupchen in the National Park or of the mountains. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC, TV, radio and telephone. The hotel also has single rooms with running water where the shower and toilet facilities are shared and on the same floor.

S-chanf is at the gates of one of most game-populated valleys of the National Park. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and the station is 100 metres away.

In the summer it is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, there is an Annual fishing meeting, Golf and Tophit packages, Nordic walking and in line skating track, stage finishing point for the National Park Bike Marathon and final goal for the In line Skater’s Cup.

In Winter it is 550 metres from the cross country tracks, th Zuoz chairlift is 2 km away, a 5 minute bus trip away. 20 minutes away there is access to the major Engadine ski resorts: St. Moritz, Celerina, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and many more.
