Very centrally location with a big department attached. Very convenient and comfortable. Enjoyed every minute over there. Will definitely stay there again.

My room's view is not that nice, but overall the room is clean and the service is good. Will stay there again if i go to kaohsiung.

I stayed there for 3 days. I have to say for a 5-star hotel it is a disappointment. The room is small compared to 3- 4-star hotels. I have the "sea view" but all it does is partition the room with horrible floors with a window too tall to view outside sitting down.
It is very clean though I do have to ask room service to redo my bed when the "new" sheets it gave me has dirt mark on it.
The hotel has great selections of restaurants, and has massage service as well. Overall the service of the restaurant staff is excellent. However, the room is a disappointment, then again all we need to do in there is sleep right?

Our stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience. We found the room,location and facilities excellent.
We were greeted by the assistant Manager Ryan Parsons,
a fellow Canadian who made the experience of being in Kaoshiung much more pleasurable for us. Staff had good english ability and helped us with transprotaion.

to major department store with gourmet bakery and grocery store plus many food outlets.
Close to Love river and night markets. Easy place for long walks and sight seeing.

We had a very enjoyable stay 2 adults and 2 children close to the river, shopping areas and restaurants. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly. The pool and gym very good no complaints at all.

Grand Hi-Lai was very convenient situated to major transportation. The value for the money is quite good, and the rooms very comfortable. The Harbour Restaurant is a bit busy on the weekends and crowds should be expected. I liked the hotel, and I felt the staff was helpful and nice. We are repeat customers at the Grand Hi-Lai, because it is an excellent hotel, best in Kaohsiung. We will stay in the Grand Hi-Lai, every time we are in Kaohsiung.

Totally enjoyed our stay there! Very clean and tastefully decorated. Grand Hi-lai is located at the intersection of Chen-Kung and Shin-Tien roads in metro-Kaohsiung. The room offered the comfortable feature and relaxing design. Grand Hi-Lai also makes it really convenient to have a department store next doors. Considering with the superb location... the price is very inexpensive. Grand Hi Lai was the place in Kaosiung that could make me feel at home with the superb service. We will suggest our friends to stay here.
