A pleasant stay after getting over the uneasy feeling during check-in
Convienient location about 5 min walk from Hongshulin MRT. Surrounded by mostly high-rise buildings/private residences. Directly across the road from the MRT is a flight of stairs that leads to the Motel. But as we arrived late at about 8pm, it was very dark so we took the slightly upslope side road instead. There is no main lobby. Check-in and payment is done outside a reception booth (similar to a security guard booth) at the entrance to carpark. A side entrance leads to the lift that takes us to the rooms. Our room has a private elevator access for those who drive in. The bedding is comfortable but the room is rather dim. The motel clearly caters to couples for a romantic getaway but do have some F&E travellers like us. Snacks, coffee and tea are provided free in the room. The bathroom is nice and spacious with separate cubicle for toilet, shower and a jacuzzi tub. Breakfast is provided in a small dinning room - a simple fare of Western and Chinese mix which is not too bad. There's minimal contact with the service staff. When we check-out, we just returned the room key to the reception booth.
