Bad receptionist, overall not bad
receptionist was very impolite, after we pay didnt give us our room key, went to attend to another customer. at first the toilet bowl was clogged, we called the counter and they suspect us of throwing something inside! and their attitude was terrible. after they changed our room, room has heater and was very comfortable. spacious enough for a family.
Nice resort with hot spring
Very peaceful place for relaxation. Nice place with big hot spring tub. Good!

Fantastic stay
We had Room 603 with fantastic views and hot tub/bathroom facilities. This hotel is showing its age, but for us, it was our best accommodation in the 3 weeks we had in Taiwan - something to do with charm and relaxing atmosphere, outdoors feel. It was easy to reach from Taipei via MRT, Bus 1601 and taxi ($NT100). Hotel meals were overpriced and average in quality. Best meals were in a small restaurant downhill by the first bridge. The staff were extremely patient with English only speakers, fantastically helpful and very pleasant. Wulai is a wonderful location in relation to scenic areas and National Parks.

Unlike what was advised on AsiaRooms' website that the hotel can be accessed via a 10min walk from the Wulai bustop, the hotel is actually a 30min walk up the hill or a 200NT taxi cab ride. Fortunately, you may call the hotel for a free pick up from the bus stop but this information was not provided on the website. Overall the hotel is very pleasant and new.
