Hwa-Du Hotel, Tainan City  

The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpfull, and the customer service was excellent, my partner and i over slept and the reception phoned to ask if housekeeping could clean the room, they did help us order a meal which was a great help in the evening as the hotel did not provide evening meals but the customer service was excellent in my opinion.My partner and i wanted to go sight-seeing which the hotel arranged a few places to go but i would recommend getting both addresses as the taxi drivers do not speak english and you can show the card to them in order for them to know where you want to go.The food in the morning was good and i did not have any complaints about it but please be aware there is no cereal, but i was ok with it as i like trying new food ,there are several shops near the hotel if you choose differently , there is pizza hut , mcdonalds, and debonairs pizza when ordering food i would suggest getting a chinese-english dictionary when going to these places so there is no confusion but when i went to order pizza there was staff who spoke english but dont make pizza order too complicated be simple please.
there is a 7-eleven where you can buy ice cream, chocalates,crisps, and hospitality was excellent.There is a laundry service at the hotel where they wash and dry your cloths but they only have washing powder so i bought softener which i added with the washing powder but that did not bother me as i was happy at the hotel, Television channels are in chinese but if you would like to watch english channels i think its channel 67 to 70 which i think is your movie channels and they do have discovery channels if you enjoy watching it .soap,shower gel,shower cap,tooth brushes were provided but please bring own tooth paste.
I would reccomend anybody to book with this hotel as the staff are friendly and greet you everytime they see you , the customer service is exellent to me i give this hotel 10 out of ten, i would book again in the future. :-)
