Rooms were okay, but being Hyatt was expecting at least a separate shower and bath for the standard rooms. Its location was excellent, wife loved it as it was linked by covered walkways to the major shopping centres in Xinyi therefore keeping her relatively dry in rainy September when we were there.
It also had a direct bus to and fro CKS airport just outside the hotel.
If commuting by the MRT is your preference you may want to take advantage of the complimentary bus ride offered at Taipei 101 to the station that runs every 20mins, else it’s a 20minute walk from hotel to station.
There were lots of staff at the hotel, they looked good standing around an otherwise empty lobby.
