Enjoyed this hotel thoroughly!  The room was...
Enjoyed this hotel thoroughly!  The room was spacious (for 3) and comfy.  Old stained carpet was probably the only drawback; however, I have learned from the staff that it's being replaced floor by floor from top down so I trust the whole hotel would be as new and clean as can be by next summer.  House keeping department ran a tight ship to ensure their guest rooms were clean and neat on a daily basis.  Personnel was effcient, pleasant and respectful.  Overall, it was a much better experience than I have expected living in a hotel outside of the U.S.  Holiday Inn had definitely done a great job with their quality assurance even out of our country!

We enjoyed our stay in Holiday Inn...
We enjoyed our stay in Holiday Inn Asiaworld. The hotel is a little old but very convenient. Ikea, air-conditioned eateries, 24hrs convenient store & shopping close by. Bedroom- Clean, comfortable & cosy. TV has a variety of channels. Toilet- Clean & spacious. Room Service- Food is very nice but service is a little slow. Lived in other hotels before but would stay in Asiaworld again if they have a room rate promotion.

Smell the mould! Dodge the drips from...
Smell the mould! Dodge the drips from the ceilings! What's that funky smell inside the pillow?HI Asiworld Hotel looks good on the surface...from a distance. When you get closer you clearly see the stains, on everything from the carpets to the curtains.Service is good however, and the location is great.

The Holiday Inn Asiaworld Taipei hotel is...
The Holiday Inn Asiaworld Taipei hotel is cosy, comfy and quite big and live up to its name. However, the building is quite old, but they are renovating it now, but the room is still good and clean as well, and also spacious. MRT is nearby, foodcourt just next door, and not so expensive compared to other 5 star hotel.

Holiday Inn Asia World is a fine...
Holiday Inn Asia World is a fine hotel. I like it a lot. It's near Asia World shopping center. Although the shopping center is not very big. There is Kia Furniture Mall and some modern shops around and also Starbuck. It is not too far from World Trade Center. I took a taxi and cost me about 135NT. During the show, the hotel also serve a oneway bus to WTC. It is a good hotel.

Basically, the room at the Asiaworld ...
Basically, the room at the Asiaworld hotel was quite comfortable & clean . The location is also quite central of the city too. There is a shopping centre just next to the hotel . In the shopping centre also have Mac Donalds, food court & Star bucks. Overall are okey to me but i reckon that the room rate is a little bit on the high side. ;

AsiaWorld Hotel was a good  hotel.  It...
AsiaWorld Hotel was a good  hotel.  It had nice accommodations and wasn't  too far from the MRT station.  It was in a more quiet part of town and that was nice but sometimes the distance from the main train station was annoying.  But generally it was very nice.  If  you don't mind spending some money I would definitely reccomend this Hotel for your stay in Taipei.

Asiaworld is a great hotel.  It's a short walk to the MRT, and several buslines stop in front of the hotel.  The room was great, food was wonderfully prepared with a variety of asian and western dishes.  The staff all are bi-lingual and were very attentive to our needs. The health facilities and swimmming pool were clean and not crowded  Definitely a good value for the dollar.

Hi Overall I did enjoy my stay at Asia World.  The room was clean and the hotel location was perfect for my visit. Things to improve: The hotel seems to be in need of renovations (some of which were on going when I was there). A less formal "coffee shop" would be nice but then again there is Starbucks just outside. There was some maintenance work/inspection going on in my bathroom 1 day (they were looking at plumbing pipes in the ceiling above the bath).
