Feels like home
I was really glad we chose to stay in Taipei International Hotel for our 6day visit to Taiwan. Although, if not for the promotional price (approx SGD$250 a night), it would prob be too pricey for us. Our room was so clean and spacious, in fact it could fit another person (we were a group of 3). The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The conceirge tried their best to help us whenever we had questions about visiting places of attraction. The location of the hotel was great because it was only a 5 min walk to zhongshan metro station. Plenty of good food in area, including a dim sum restaurant and unagi rice. The conceirge recommended these places to us apart many others, so do ask them for recommendations, you won't regret it :) Famous bubble tea shop opposite the hotel call Chun Shui Tang. Quaint cafes along the street including Mita, a must try. If you're feel like catching a movie, there's a really posh cinema up the street called Showtime Cinemas (Xin Xin Xiu Tai Ying Cheng), tix prices approx SGD$13.
Well in essence, a wonderful place to stay at, away from the hussle of the city but yet not far from it.
