We booked 2 rooms, a double and a quad. Upon checking in, we requested for an extra bed as we had an additional family member who joined us after we had made our reservations. We were pleasantly surprised when told that they will upgrade us to a second quad room. We enjoyed the hot spring bath in our room. It is about 10 mins walk to the night market. Beitou is not an ideal place for young children and those who do not enjoy hot spring baths.
