The Hotel provides comfortable, clean rooms and good location. Breakfast is sufficient. Non smoking policy makes the rooms without odor. My only suggestion to the staffs here is to install shower curtain in the future to keep the bathroom dry.

Good for a short stay
Hau Shuang Hotel was pleasant enough. The room had a slight odor to it, perhaps a previous resident had smoked. All normal in room facilities were good except that the lack of a shower curtain meant that the bathroom floor was thoroughly wet at the end of the shower. The location is good, very close to TRA and MRT stations and right next to a huge and busy market for cheap clothes etc
Overall, this was a reasonable hotel at neither a cheap nor expensive rate. I would stay here again.

Great little friendly hotel.
We loved staying at this hotel. They are very helpful and friendly.
They tried their best explained it in english to help us to get to where we wanted to go. We are very greatful.

Well after an intial bad start, there was no pick up at the airport, then when I arrived about 90 minutes later than I thought, there was a misunderstanding about whether I had a booking or not, partly my fault, with no Chinese language knowledge. After that is was great, good TV reception and programmes, I watched a lot of it. Internet you need a Note Book. Despite language barrier mostly on my part staff were good. Great location, very close to station, one stop into town, good nearby shops, great Noodle cafe across the street, plenty of late night 7 elevens. Very clean tidy organised City. Loved it only stayed three days but wish it were three weeks.

The hotel is located near both the train and MRT stations. The room is pretty romantic and is more suitable for couple. The is no much facilities but it is a good place for those who like to shop for clothing as wholesales for clothing is only 2 mins walk.

The up-sides are: a stone throw away from SongShan Station and WuFenPu. About 5 min. walk to Raohe St night market. Window-view of Taipei 101 (for rooms facing the main street only)
The down-sides are: Nearby constructions, Cleanliness of rooms (cum with bi-hourly room rental with cigarette smell} Unfreindly ladystaff @ reception. (did not makeup room during my 2 weekend night stays):(
