This hotel had no Western food and was a long way from trains and Taipei City.
Good Value and Comfort
This is the third time we have stayed at City Suites Hotel in Taoyuan, Taiwan. It is a convenient few minutes taxi ride to the airport. Though there are some hotels that are even closer, this is a fine choice and more economical than others. The front desk personnel has always been courteous and helpful. Services such as wake up calls, phoning for a taxi, and arranging for a box breakfast when we have to leave before breakfast starts all are much appreciated. The good English is especially welcome, We will definitely stay there again if we need to have an overnight in transit.
Great hotel near TPE
My husband and I used this hotel during an overnight between flights at TPE. Quick cab ride (about 5 minutes) from the airport, quick check in process even though we arrived after midnight, and although we reserved the ecomonic room, we were upgraded to a room with two beds on the tenth floor. Breakfast was ample and typical for Taipei accomocations. The hotel asked when our flight would be leaving the next morning and arranged a cab for us. Great experience, clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to be near TPE airport.
