This hotel should be on your shortlist if you want to visit and stay in Ayutthaya.
We stayed in the "penthouse suite", which is an appartment with complete living room and kitchen on the "low level" and a bedroom with separate bathroom upstairs. At a very affordable rate, considering what you get. The hotel was only one year old when we got there, so everything was super new and super clean.
Typical Thailand, the personel is extremely helpful and friendly.
There is a really nice pool on the top of the hotel, which we enjoyed very much. Seats, towels and service, all included.
The "Executive lounge" with Wifi, internet access free, free coffee, tea and mineral water, is really neat.
The food in the restaurant, both breakfast and dinner, is great as long as you stick to asian or thai. Western style food is a good attempt to please those not fond of the local food, but don't expect belgian food quality.
The hotel is quite a bit away from the city center, but the hotel tuk-tuk will take you to the center for a good price. There is a seven-eleven, a mall and a daily night market on walking distance.
All in all a great deal and highly recommended. You will not find many like this in Ayutthaya!
