Impressive
I was very impressed by the quality of the hotel, rooms and the staff service. The staff service will put many 5 stars to shame. Please keep up the great work.
Ripe off
It was very very disappointing. I feel like that I have been ripped off either by Asiarooms or President Palace Bangkok. Asiarooms reassured me before booking that my 12 yrs old daughter would be considered as a child ( as they have confirmed with hotel reservation officer) & I would not be charged extra for my daughter. Asiarooms even gave us the reservation officer's name & we also specified all details in the comment box in the booking page. when we checked in at the hotel they were going to charge me extra and they don't know who was that reservation officer. After complaining & spoke with the manager on duty. the extra cost was waived. BUT WHAT THEY HAVE DONE, WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE, THEY GAVE US A SUPERIOR ROOM INSTEAD OF DELUXE ROOM. PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE PAID FOR DELUXE ROOM. (At the time I thought it's a bit weird, why the room was smaller than the one I stayed back in 2011). Only confirmed that's what the hotel has done to us when i re-visited their website and checked what a deluxe room should have been. I WILL NOT GOING BACK TO THE SAME HOTEL AGAIN NEXT YEAR AND WILL NOT BOOK THROUGH ASIAROOM AGAIN
great business stop over
This is the second time I have stayed in the President Palace Hotel, I have stayed in many Hotels in Bangkok, this by far must be the best value for money Hotel in Bangkok, I stayed once again in the Club rooms, which come with not only access to the club lounge, but also free drinks at the pool, as well as some free drinks in the room, the happy 2 hours in the club lounge at night, then on top of that , two pieces of laundry per room every day,
Check in was done in the club lounge, the room is quite spacious , but very nice, with ipod dock etc,the pool area is very nice as is the gym,
The hotel is in a nice area with plenty to see and do, with lots of nice restaurants close by, there is a great , small restaurant half way down the street heading towards Nana BTS It sits on a side street next to a 7 11, the opposite side of the Hotel,
the only thing negative about my stay this time, from sept, was the breakfast was not as nice , I used the club lounge, but the choice had been cut back quite a lot, from what it was in sept, apart from that it is a really good Hotel,I have already booked to go back in Sept again

Good hotel
Gave me a free upgrade to their club room. Appreciated it.
Had a speaker for apple devices which was good as it could be used for charging as well. TV channels were also good with english channels.

This was my second stay at President Palace. I truly like the place: It is very clean, has a very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are fairly large and spacious, and it is very close to many conveniences and amenities in Bangkok. Highly recommended.
My Opinion
My first time stay at this hotel has no regrets. The 2 nights stay was wonderful. Will definitely stay in this hotel when in Bangkok.
Glitch at arrival time!
Very nice and clean hotel. Close to all the amenities one might need. Located in a great and lively neighbourhood of restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. and close to BTS.
My only bad experience with the staff was when I arrived at the hotel I had to wait about 45 minutes before my room was ready. The official check in time is 2 p.m. and I arrived at 6 p.m.!
On this issue, the staff did not seem to be helpful.

Nice hotel
Good hotel and friendly staff. Location was a bit far from the nearest BTS and the location was inside of sukhumvit road about 5-7minutes walk from BTS. Apart from the location the hotel was a four star and their rooms were big with 2sets of TV. Breakfast was ok and they should add more halal meats and fruits. The rate of the hotel were OK compared to the hotel facilities.
