My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay while at the Royal Ivory Hotel. On arrival we were helped with our bags out of the taxi and the ladies in reception were most helpful and professional. We arrived much earlier than the check in time, but it wasn't too much of a problem for them and we just had to wait 5 mins for the room to be finished with cleaning. The room was at the end of the building right next to the large laundry Room with double doors, we were a bit worried that it might be noisey, but it was fine for the 3 nights we were there. The room was tidy, clean and some of the decor was a bit dated, but all in all we were really please to stay there. The Royal Ivory is a great location in Suhkumvit, its a very busy happening and interesting street at night time. The pool was a good for a dip after shopping in Siam Paragon. Would definately stay there again.

Excellent value for money. Spacious rooms, good a/c, clean, spacious and nice bathroom. Location is very good, several minutes away from the Sky Train, yet quiet.

The hotel was easy to find, and not to far a walk from Nana Station. Reasonably quiet location. Good service, but the F&B from Room service wasn't so good. Spent a few hours by myself suntanning at the rooftop pool with jacuzzi. Good setup, and noone else around. The area isn't as glitzy as Siam and some of the middle Sois on Sukhumvit, but seems to have a decent range of shops, restaurants, bars, and of course the ever-ubiquitous Starbucks. The breakfast was buffet-style with freshly made omelets, juices, coffee and tea, and a mixture of western and eastern dishes. They allowed me to check out late, but tried to overcharge me for a taxi to the airport--if on a tighter budget, just go outside the hotel and haggle with the drivers there--instead of paying 800 through the hotel, I paid 400 Baht. All in all, not a bad price for what I got, would probably stay here again.

This hotel has character. It's a ten minute walk to Nana MTR station which is two stations from the central shopping malls. It's far enough down soi 4 that it's not noisy at night. Staff are friendly and efficient and the restaurant / room service is pretty good and not expensive. A large double room was 1,250 a night in April 2010. TV had BBC World, Sky Sports, various English language film channels etc. Also very close to Bumrungrad Hospital if you need a tune up.

Very nice/helpfull staff. Clean rooms with lots of space. Hotel located at the lower end of Soi 4. You have to go thru redlight district in Soi 4 to get BTS/Surkomwhit. If you are ok with that, the hotel is a good choice. Stayed there several times. Breakfirst is rather thai's. Recommend Naree Massage adjacent to the hotel - for male persons. Always - don't use taxi's in front of the hotel - rip-off. Staff will help you get a meter-taxi.
