Stay at Royal ivory
Reasonable amount of parking which we needed although if the hotel way particularly busy it would soon become very limited, about 20 cars tops could be accomodated, room was spacious, and the bathroom was OK, no bath, just a shower, but in truth thats all thats needed, swimming pool was small but clean, seperate small splash pool for kids.
Elevator to all floors was clean and big enough for 3 people with bags, breakfast was those frankfurter type sausages and sliced mah, with fresh cooked eggs, sometimes tomatos and french toast, also Thai type breakfast, good selection, with of course tea, coffee and orange juice.
Would definitely recomend and plan to stop there prior to leaving this year, and will use again when come back next year, hotel is nice and central for Bangkok but far enough from noisy night life to be peaceful, some bars and eateries in easy walking distance.
Use again!

VERY BAD 3 STARS
Hotel very run down, poorly maintained. It is far from a 3 star.
The rude staff.
Internet access is more like an access via a modem
Not advisable at all!
The pool is dirty, it gives not want to go to a fathom.

Value for money
A cheap hotel that provides a good breakfast clean bed and very central to the local bars if you like an occasional drink.

Lovely clean place, poor housekeeping and poor customer service.
We stayed for a week and very much enjoyed it, right up until checkout time. The room included a well stocked mini bar including soft drinks, juices and beer. For the first three days of our stay the housekeepers restocked our mini bar when they cleaned the room in the morning. On the fourth day of our week long stay we arrived back at our room in the afternoon to find that the mini bar had not been restocked that day and so was still missing all the beers that we'd consumed. We thought nothing of it (assuming that the housekeeper had simply forgotten to stock it) and went out and bought our own drinks for that night. The next day we found the same unstocked mini bar, and simply assumed that we must have reached the limit for our stay so again didn't say anything. Our mini bar was not restocked again for the rest of our stay.
However, when we arrived at the guest service desk to check out and pay our bill, we discovered that we had been charged for the drinks missing every day, as if the minibar had been restocked and the beverages consumed. When we tried to explain what had happened the gust service lady refused to take off the last three days of minibar charges, saying that the housekeeper was insistent that she had restocked the fridge every day. After some back and forth arguing we managed to convince them to take off two out of the three days but we still had to pay for one. Not impressed.
We would probably stay here again because it was a nice hotel with a lovely large room, but my advice for future patrons is to alert guest services if you realise that the housekeepers do not restock your mini bar, otherwise you will be charged incorrectly for it and will have a hard time getting out of it.

not even average
Not a lot of good things to say about this place I most certainly would never stay here again, just nothing nice about it, skip the breakfast it was rubbish I went around the corner and paid for it rather than eat the free one provided. It has asked me to state below what is this accomodation suitable for I have had to say family holiday otherwise I can not send in the review the reality is its not suitable for anything.

Very nice and comfortablle rooms
This hotel has very nice apartment rooms with kitchenette and a very nice breakfast area. It is located in Bangkok's red light quarter, so do not wonder about certain habits. Sukhumvit is quite central and the hotel is near to the LRT station Nana.

Good location
Hotel is great located, near nana, close to BTS etc. Nice stuff, Room is big enough, free Wi-Fi, very nice. But please, start to clean the bathroom exactly. Our bathroom was horrible dirty. Old dirt! Also the swimmingpool is a poor thing. Small and dirty. I wanted to jump inside, but something in my mind told me not to do.
