3days stay 10/2011
Having travelled 2000k through Thailand the Chatrium was a lovely quiet haven from the busy city centre. Very conveniently located. The hotel Ferry drops you of at the Taksin bridge which provides a good starting point to all the sights.
Hotel staff very obliging and helpful. We stayed during the floods but hotel was well sandbagged and not in area of high risk due to location.
Food -breakfast for all tastes. Asian and European. Don't expect butchers sausages or perfect bacon! you are in Asia!-try some off the other delicious options-I enjoyed my sushi breakfast , noodle soup and fresh fruit.also continental available. all very nice. The buffet Dinner was a bit pricey for what it was-but very good standard.(add 17%to listed price on every thing on menu.)
Pool a lovely peace full haven -happy hour 11-2pm
Overall a lovely relaxing stay- be back again.
