The reception area is really incorporated with the dining area... but room was clean and aircon worked well, although a little noisy... Close to transport and shopping. breakfast is fresh  cooked but small in portion.. but it is a reasonable priced Hotel ..

It's good to stay in Samran Place...
It's good to stay in Samran Place hotel. The location is perfect as the proximity to skytrain(walk about 5 minutes) Breakfast is okie if you take account of the price in Bangkok. Good for travellers who just want to stay in hotel for a comfortable rest.

The Samran Place hotel is a good...
The Samran Place hotel is a good value. Reception small breakfast even smaller but room very clean. Overall good experience. However, I prefer the Manhatttan in Sukhumvit. A great value hotel very good location from Sky train, clean room, and great breakfast.

Despite the reception area is a bit...
Despite the reception area is a bit small (kind of disappointed upon arriving), the staff there are very friendly and helpful. Most importantly the room is clean. A good location, 5 mins walk to the BTS sky train, one stop to the most popular shopping areas, SIAM. The Samran Place hotel is definitely value for money if you are looking for a SAFE & CLEAN place to stay at night, shop till you drop in the day. Do consider!

The rooms are modern and clean, the air-con is quiet and works well, breakfast is freshly cooked (rather than fly-blown-buffet); and the Sky Train is only 5 minutes walk away (plus it's only one stop from Siam), those who prefer to take taxi in and out of the hotel please do bring along the Samran Place hotel name card. Not all the taxi driver knew the location. Distance to from airport also not a problem, about 200baht by metered taxi. Choose the hotel because of the positive reviews.

This is my 3rd stay in the...
This is my 3rd stay in the Samran Place hotel and the number of times stayed here speaks for itself. Distance to from airport also not a problem, about 200baht by metered taxi, heaps of side stall selling noodles,porridge, teh tarik etc. and most of all staff deserved to be praised for their friendliness.

A great little hotel. The rooms are modern and clean with plenty of natural light; the air-con is quiet and works well; the staff are all extremely friendly; breakfast is freshly cooked (rather than fly-blown-buffet); and the Sky Train is only 5 minutes walk away (plus it's only one stop from Siam). My only criticism is that the laundry is prohibitively expensive. But there's a few very cheap same-day laundries down the closest Soi, so no problems there either. Fantastic value for money, we're on our second stay there, and I'm sure we'll be back in the Samran Place hotel!

We enjoyed our stay at Samran Place Hotel.  Public tranportations are easily accessible, short walk to BTS skytrain.  Centrally located near shopping areas.  Customer services were excellent.

For the low price we paid, I...
For the low price we paid, I thought the Samran Place hotel was excellent.  I think we got lucky , cuz the room we stayed in was newly renovated . Our friend a few doors down said his was partially renovated but was still happy for the price we paid.  Breakfast was average but still good.    We liked Bangkok so much, we ended changing our flight tickets.  The travel agent there took care of it for us for a small fee and the hotel charged us the same low price to stay an extra day so we were extremely happy.  The staff was helpful , one of them even recommended some good shopping areas.  Wasn't too hard to get a taxi as we walked down the street a bit and found tons of them driving around.  Train stations were not too far either, pretty convenient. Only complaint though was the showerhead needed to be tighted .  The water pressure was strong and the showerhead wouldn't stay where I wanted it to. But overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would stay again in the future.
