This hotel is located somewhere near to Asia Hotel. About 5-10 mins walk. There is a massage parlour beside
the hotel. At night, there are alot of foods stall. The foods are quite nice.
The hotel itself is not bad. The rooms are spacious and clean. But the foods inside the hotel is very expensive.
I will chose to stay at this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient to most of the frequent visited places in Bangkok. Its about 15 to 20 minutes stroll to MBK. And about 100 baht or less if the taxi travel by meter to Cha Tuu Chat (weekend market), Suan Loom (night market), China Town (Yaowaraj), Kao San Road and the famous four face buddha near World Trade Centre. The nearest BTS station is Rachathewi Station and is about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel itself. Just beside the hotel there is one small massage house and you can enjoy foot or traditional Thai massage for only 200 baht for 1 hour. There isn't much facilties in the hotel (like swimming pool, gym or lounge) as compared to those more luxury one, however the basic ones are there. But its really worth for those budget travellers. Bathroom comes with a bath-tub and hot shower. And there is a small balcony. Service of the staffs are ok.

Stayed for 2 night, good value for $$. About 10 mins walk from ratchathewi BTS, breakfast not bad too (got some choice to select from menu). Will stay here again, next time to Bangkok.

Location of the hotel is quite ideal for shopping traveller , where it could only took you a 5 mins walk to the BTS station , or another 5 mins walk to MBK shopping center. The hotel is a bit old and small, but the staff is generally quite nice and helpful.
Less choices for breakfast but the food is just fine.
Room was tidy and well organised , bathroom was clean . Infact it was better than the other 3 star hotel in bangkok. Anyway it's good fot budget traveller.

Enjoyed a good 3 nights' stay at Samran Place. It is very accessible, 10mins walk to BTS. Hotel Room is clean and spacious. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely my top choice of hotel in Bangkok!
We have a pleasant four nights stay...
We have a pleasant four nights stay in this hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy, bed linens are clean except the towels which have stains and the water heater in one of our rooms is not working well. Though we can request for hot water from room service, it will be more convenient if kettle is provided. Generally, the service from the housekeeping, the cafe and the staffs are good. Overall, satisfaction and is recommended.

Overall, my experience staying at Samran is fairly poor.Firstly, the view from the room is terrible as it is facing a construction site and there was even mosquitoes in the room! The frontdesk service and the housekeeping services could be better and the staff should be more friendly towards the guests. The dining area at the lobby is very small and the choice of breakfast is very limited. Lastly, we have to pay 50 baht for every extra pillow requested.

Location was not most ideal. Most Taxis do not know the place. If you get a room near the road, it is quite noisy at night. You got what you pay for a budget hotel. Hotel staffs are helpful. The food stalls along the road at night is a plus point.
