It was a nice time!
Me & my wife stayed @ Samran place for 4 nights.
Staff was friendly & helpful.
Customer service, cleanliness, etc. every thing was good.
But brekfast should be improved by both quality & quantity wise.
Location also very good, located side of a main road (pechaburi road), close to Pathunam Shopping area, but not walking distance.
But walking distance to the sky train.
Value for money aspect is satisfactory.
If I visit Bangkok again, most probably I'll stay @ Samran Place.

The room is acceptable standard and breakfast is fine. Need to walk about 10~15 to BTS.
Overall, I enjoy the stay and worth recommend to friends.

Love the place. Though not excellent, can't complain as the price is a real bargain. Carpet was clean, won't give u the yucky feeling when u go barefoot. Only problem was the shower had inconsistent temperature, it's either u turn it all the way up to boiling hot or it'll become ice cold one moment n warm again the next.

Budget hotel within walking distance to great...
Budget hotel within walking distance to great shopping. It's a good walk but transport is readily available if needed. Loved being close to Pratunum markets and MBK was also close by. Walk to Skytrain. Apart from street food there are no little cafes or inexpensive restaurants nearby however 7/11 is almost next door. Hotel was okay. room smelled awful on arrival- I think the aircon filters were washed next day because it was better when we returned from shopping.Breakfast very basic but ok. All in all I wouldn;t rave about this place but it suited our needs at the time. Would not stay here again.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, especially when u need to get a cab! Room is very basic, not for fussy travelers.

We like the convenient location which is...
We like the convenient location which is within walking distances to shopping, food outlets and train station. Room was clean and spacious. It would be great if coffee/tea ( besides the complimentary 2 bottles daily of mineral water ) be provided in the rooms. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at Samran Place a couple of times and would recommend it to budget travelers. Its proximity to BTS and a 5 - 8 minute walk to many shopping & eating places is a big plus factor.

Very nice budget hotel. Great location, just 5 minutes to walk to the next skytrain station. About 10-15 minutes to walk from Siam Centre and Siam Paragon. Free WLAN (at least in the Entrance Hall, did not work on the 6th floor on which we stayed). First time we stayed there (beginning of our trip) we had a room facing the construction site next to the hotel, which was quite loud. At the end of our trip we stayed there again and got a nice room on the back of the hotel with a balcony, no noise there at all. Overall, nice hotel, great location and great value for money. We will stay there again.

I stayed at Samran Hotel on 2...
I stayed at Samran Hotel on 2 seperate occasions when I was in Bangkok for 3 nights each time. The hotel was clean the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a short walk to reach the Bangkok Sky Train about 10 minutes. The restuarant serves a variety of foods and there is also wi-fi available. Great for the price
