Stayed in this hotel with 7 of my friends from end aug - early sept. Was still reading about the reviews before going so I thought I might be able to contribute some information. Location wise is good, though I never take the skytrain but only Taxi and Tuktuk. Taking taxi and tuktuk is very convenient. If you are going to nearby malls meter may be only 50Baht but from our bad experience, we usually quote a price instead cause the driver usually will end up going around the place, cheating your money instead of going to the malls directly. Shopping was good esp Suan Lum night bazaar, Chatuchak and Platinum Fashion mall. Though the price over at Suan Lum will be slightly more expensive than the other two, but the quality is much better. Hotel wise is good. Room was enough for us, not too big/ small, and the bathroom was quite small but it's good in a way as well. Read from the review the security guard provides an excellent service and it's true! He will help you in every way without you asking. Do rem to tip him everytime before you leave as an appreciation!
