"This is my first time staying at...
"This is my first time staying at Samran Place. The receptionist can speak some English & the service also quite good. One of the waiter served for breakfast is very helpful. It is very near to BTS station only 5 to 10 minutes walk away & only one station in order to reach shopping mall like Siam paragon, Siam Square and etc.. *Very convinient* The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There are also many eating places located within a stone's throw from the hotel. I will stay in this hotel when I visit Bangkok again! *EXCELLENT*

Good budget hotel. Better than sawadee hotels...
Good budget hotel. Better than sawadee hotels in the same price range. Rooms are simple but clean. I was offered a free upgrade to superior room (!) because I arrived before check-in time at 8 AM and a standard room (which I booked) was not available.

We took a superior room and we were surprise by the cleanliness and the size of the room. They were really good consider a 2-3 star hotel like this. This hotel is also located at a very good location. Just 5 minutes walking to the nearest BTS station and it is about 15 minutes to the Pratunam fashion mall. The only thing is that they don't provide buffet breakfast. Other than that, this is a very good hotel and it is absolutely value for the amount we pay.

It has been a very pleasant stay...
It has been a very pleasant stay at the Samran Place. Having stayed for 5 days in September, I must say that the service crew have been great. They are always there to render help, from providing directions to ensuring a comfy stay for my partner and I. Getting there could be a little tricky, as some taxi drivers may not really know how to get there. For a tip, you may want to mention that its near the Asia Hotel, and make sure you can find your way from there. The room size is rather generous, with bath tubs for almost every room. The place is kept clean and street food is easily available. Breakfast is not buffet-style but is adequate. Very affordable and economical.

We booked the superior room which is rather large. Room and bathroom was very clean and very presentable. Location is very ideal because it's a 5-minute walk to the BTS. There are many eating and shopping places around the hotel. Although location is good, hotel room itself was very quiet and condusive. Service of the staff was excellent. Something which the hotel can consider is to provide a kettle in every room, for the convenience of all travellers. Also, the hotel lobby is rather small and there is no buffet breakfast provided. But the American breakfast was great! It's definitely a perfect choice for budget travelers.

Samran place is a great hotel. ...
Samran place is a great hotel. very big, clean rooms, everything works including the aircon. Breakfast was basic but tasty. Its located within 15 minute walk to MBK or 5 minutes to BTS. Overall, the best hotel by far I've stayed in Bangkok for under US$35. This hotel is a bargain! The hotel staff are friendly and speaks a bit of english. Great place to stay and will come and stay again.

Absolutely perfect~! Great room size, clean bathrooms, a stone's throw away from a night market with delicious street stalls. Only bad thing is that the hotel is not within walking distance from the malls but the BTS is approx a 5-7min walk away. Still convenient. Not to forget the friendly door man who works the AM shift...very warm service! And the food at the hotel's cafe is pretty fantastic too! I'll surely be back on my next visit : )
