Very nice & quite different hotel situated...
Very nice & quite different hotel situated very central if you are looking for shopping in Bangkok. The restaurant is placed at the bottom floor but besides that the actual hotel starts at 11th floor and upwards. We stayed in a leasure room and found it very comfortable. If you do not like concrete floor and walls it is nothing for you but we think they have succeded very well to create a harmonic atmosphere with the quite asian-dark interior design. The staff was the most friendly we have ever met in a hotel! You have to experience this hotel. Go and stay there!

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel and we especially liked the design and excellent service from the staff. But to only have one restaurant at the ground floor with limited choices of food is not good enough with big disturbing TV and very load music. We also thought the bed could have been more comfortable.

Very hip new hotel. Wish I would have packed nicer clothes, as we felt a bit under-dressed! It's Brand new, and the facilities and service were impeccable. The location is very convenient, with the Skytrain within a five minute walk. It's across the street from the National Stadium, and we were lucky enough to view the soccer game between Thailand and Vietnam from a bird's eye view on the 23rd floor.
Make sure you have bills on hand to tip the plentiful staff. The door guys will always call you a cab, and seem to have an understanding with the taxi drivers that they will use their meters (a first for us!). While that was very much appreciated, I think it's worth negotiating a higher fare if you are going to the airport. Our taxi driver must have been getting back at us for having to take us to the airport on a meter fare at 4am, and proceeded to take us on a reckless drive at over 165km an hour! I would have gladly paid much more for a safe ride!
All in all - a great new hotel option to have in Bangkok.

My boyfriend and I made reservations at this new hotel and it was absolutely fantastic!
Service was outstanding and design hotel describes this hotel exactly. The rooms were beautiful. There was a library/bar with piano, internet, and nicely tiled pool. You wouldn't have to leave the hotel to enjoy your stay in bangkok!
As mentioned in other comments, you had to be careful when entering/exiting the bath tub, but we were aware of this in advance and had no troubles. All of the accent pieces in the room were great, too.
Breakfast was included and ok, nothing exceptional. However, the evening meal at the restaurant was very good.
As mentioned earlier, service was the key. We were married at the hotel and the human resources manager took care of every detail. We just had to relax and enjoy!
Location was also good if you are interested in shopping and tourist spots. Jim thompson's is just around the corner, within walking distance (5-10 minutes). Shopping (mbk, etc.) were about 15-20 minutes walk or just a few via tuk-tuk. Taxis were always available for other destinations.
Our experience at siam@siam was excellent and we will definitely return for our one year anniversary!
You really have to check in and...
You really have to check in and see for yourself. This hotel is in general a pleasant surprise to me because I hardly heard of it; since is it still a very new Hotel in the area.
The staffs are very helpful and cheerful.
The standard room that I stayed in was designed to suit the surrounding theme. I really like the way they recycled materials to create a unique decor for the room and walkways, lobbies, etc.
Distance from the hotel to MBK is about 5-7mins walk and 3-4mins to National Stadium BTS.
If you are tired of PP Hotel and needed a boutique hotel that is relaxed in the day, and alive at night, you can consider Siam @ Siam the best place in Siam Sq.

Our inital impression of the hotel was...
Our inital impression of the hotel was WOW! Trendy, modern, yet warm and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with the executive chef personally checking customer satisfaction with their experience. Location of the hotel is great - watched Thailand play Myanmar at Soccer at the National Stadium from our hotel room! 2 minutes walk to Tesco Lotus, MBK and the skytrain. Staff were warm, friendly and enthusiastic. Our next stay in Bangkok will definitely be at this hotel. Taxi drivers did have some trouble finding the location, due to the hotel being so new, so ask your driver to call the hotel directly. This should not be a problem for too long though.
