Loved this hotel! It didn't feel...
Loved this hotel! It didn't feel like your bland-but-pleasant big chain hotel - the decor is pretty dramatic and the facilities are gorgeous - it was much more individual. The room had polished concrete and darker decorating tones, but during the day it was still nice and bright and we had a good view of the stadium across the road. We didn't hear a peep from adjoining rooms and the staff were professional and quite lovely - always opening the door for us, helping us with taxi's, holding our bags etc. There was a gorgeous infinity pool that looks out over Bangkok and it was getting quite a bit of use when we stayed - unfortunately we had no time to use it though. The people in it looked like they were enjoying it though. The only complaint was the breakfast - which was in a really nice restaurant on the ground floor and had a great selection of fruit, pastries, an egg station and cooked food like bacon, hash browns, dim sum etc - but this food was really quite cold. Almost stone cold, actually. Hopefully it was just a glitch on the day. Everything else was perfect. We were in Bangkok to shop and this was a fantastic location for it - a 5 minute walk from MBK, the Discovery Centre, Paragon etc. and a few minutes in the opposite direction to grab a few things at Tesco Lotus (which opens at 9 by the way - and there's a Boots and Watsons pharmacy in that complex if you want to kill some time before the shopping centres open around 11). I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone in Bangkok, particularly shoppers and for business.

After staying at the Prathumwan Princess on top of MBK we rate this hotel better value for money. Cheaper - more modern and great location.

I was very pleased with the deal that I received through asia rooms . com. The hotel itself is very well located and is very funky and modern, being only a 3 minute walk from the nearest Sky train station. The infinity swimming pool on the 15th floor is very cool and the staff were very attentive, with the rooms being serviced twice a day. If you want to stay somewhere a bit different/moderm give it a go.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Siam At Siam. Service was good , people were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very good as well. Facilities and amenities, including internet service served to be very useful. The only reservation I had was with the spa service whereby the jacuzzi was not working and we were not told when we walked in for our appointment. We were told to just soak oursleves in the water instead and that's when we realised. The bed sheeting of our massage beds did not look very clean, although the bed itself was well made. It looked like it had stains from a previous use (I'm not too sure about this entirely , as this could be the design of the sheets used?)Apart from this, service at the spa was very good and we were attended to ver well, whenever we visited the place. I hope though that you can clarify with the sheeting used as I believe hygiene should be a number one priority in spas. The location of the hotel was very convenient to nearby shopping areas too. Food was brilliant - I am vegetarian and there was a variety of choice over breakfast. Overall, I would definitely recommend your hotel to anyone who plans to visit Bangkok! Regards, Suja

Very cool and trendy hotel with two excellent bars in the lobby. Like most other hotels in Thailand, you must question the concierge's recommendations on destinations as they likely receive commission on their recommendations and not necessarily what you're looking for.

Great new hotel within walking distance to MBK shopping centre, Siam shopping centers and Siam square. BTS and Jim Thompson right around the corner. Right opposite National stadium, from many rooms you can watch what is going on in the stadium. Nice big rooms, very stylish, providing everything necessary and more, wonderful breakfast buffet.

What a funky sylish hotel this is. The...
What a funky sylish hotel this is. The theme is carried out very well throughout this hotel. The rooms were quite small and the bathroom was also small. The space in the rooms has been maximised. I would not recomend this hotel to older people just for the fact of getting in and out of the shower. You have to climb into the bath to do this and it is not a normal height bath - it is very high and would be quite difficult for an older or short person. Other than that we loved the hotel. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast was lovely. There were slight changes each morning to the menu but overall was very good. We had the business room which gave you the opportunity to use the executive lounge. You get 2 free drinks per person in the evening and canapes. You also have access to free internet use. If you are a non smoker make sure you ask for the non smoking floor as just walking on a smoking floor almost knocks you over. The location to the MBK shopping centre was fantastic - we walked every day which took about 5 minutes. As it is a new hotel the taxi drivers dont know it yet so you are best to get a copy of the map in Thai from the hotel to give to the driver. Overall we would have no hesitation in going back to this hotel.

Exciting design hotel with a modern taste. Lovely bathroom with a huge bathtub (plenty of space for two). The hotel has a beautiful relaxing area outside with a pool that has a magnificant view (a bit scary although if you are afraid of hights). We really enjoyed staying here and felt like we got a good value for the price. The service at the hotel is superb!
