One night close to airport before leaving Thailand
We decided to spend our last night close to the airport to minimize departure stress and were very positively suprised. The hotel was very good value for the money, very clean, new and friendly and offered a free ride to the airport. We will probably stay there again on the last night of our next Thailand holidays.

Remarks on The Ivory Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok
I would like to mension some remarks about this hotel and surrounding.
1. Good for muslim due to some of hotel's staff were muslim.
2. Good hotel with a low cost budget.
3. Outskirt environment wit a fair night Lat Klabang market, very close to Royal Gems International (the biggest jewelry store in Asia) and near airport too.
4. To update the coordinates of this hotels. The correct place and coordinate was 13°43'19.13"N, 100°43'48.03"E. Coordinates given by asiaroom was not correct and offset more than 1 km.

Great motel, perfect for a short stay. The room was very tidy and was cleaned and given fresh linen daily. Minutes walk to the taxi rank and convenience shops, 20 minutes drive to nearest major shopping mall.
The hotel receptionist was lovely and speaks good English. She recommended places to visit as I had a week long stop over.
I would have to recommend shopping at MBK (HUGE Westernized shopping mall) and the Jathujale weekend markets (real Thai culture with craft, shopping, animal/pet markets), - both about 30-40 minutes drive away.
The pick up from the airport was relatively on time, and they offered me a free lift back to the airport as I departed. It's very close to the airport, less than a 10 minute drive.
Hotel cafe is nice and good value. Evening meals from about 100 - 150 bh.
Only problem was that the shower drain blocked, but after the cleaners saw it blocked they fixed it and I had no more problems.

Female receptionist was uncooperative and rude. Receptionist...
Female receptionist was uncooperative and rude. Receptionist did not pick up the phone when we rang for information. After returning to hotel, she denied that the phone rang and blamed our cellphone, instead of admitting her failure to pick up the phone. Room stank of chemicals from tainted water. Hotel was close to traffic, therefore was very noisy. No extraction fan in the bathroom. Room lock was difficult to use. Was very far from Bangkok, taking about 40 minutes via taxi. Taxi driver also found it difficult to locate the hotel. This hotel's level is worse than a guesthouse. Therefore, we strongly advise against staying here.

Rooms - very clean and well maintained...
Rooms - very clean and well maintained restaurant - good food (value) - nearby - turn left from hotel to shopping centre and restaurant - transport - free pick up to & from international airport - bus - 1013 (white bus) on same side as hotel to on nut carefore shopping mall (short 5-10 min walk to bts skytrain) turn left at next main street overall - i will return to this hotel again - staff very helpful in reception / restaurant / transport / cleanliness

Excellent hotel for airport arrivals/departures. Rooms are clean, although a bit spartan. Nice big shower with lots of hot water. Staff speak excellent English and are very efficient. Wakeup call at 4:30am was right on time as was transportation to airport. Cafe was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. Second time here and I'll likely stay again.

With this hotel you only get what...
With this hotel you only get what you pay for. It served it's purpose for. It's OK The main problems I had. The shower wouldn't work and that was put right immediately. Another problem was finding the rep at the airport. She wasn't where she was supposed to be. It took the shuttle approximently 20 minutes to get to the hotel.

Pick up at airport was not clearly...
Pick up at airport was not clearly marked with person stood with sign face down not clearly visible. However to be fair was polite and apologetic. Hotel only 10 mins away from airport via car. Hotel itself is very clean, modern and nice rooms. The room I had did not have Tea and coffee facilities and the TV had 12 channels all Thai and one bible one. n all my stays in Asia when I have had a TV satellite has been included. There is a restaurant at the hotel which has TV showing sport and provides good value food and snack from 06.00-22.00. Nearby small shopping complex and a bigger one 15 mins by taxi. WIFI available and internet in cafe. Staff very helpful and transfer to hotel arranged easily and on time. Overall if you are looking to stay a night ready for a flight it is ideal.

Very nice hotel, nice to unwind after an amazing holiday and ready for the journey home, staying near to the airport for convienence, with a free drop off. Recommended

A clean, convenient hotel for the airport...
A clean, convenient hotel for the airport at a very reasonable price. Ideal if you are catching an early flight, only 10 minutes from airport, about 100 baht in metered taxi. Friendly staff and a reasonable breakfast starting at 6am. Would definitely stay again.
