Had To Move Twice
My rating is based on average of bad experience for first two days and better for last two days.
Never book a superior room. The photo shows the new front building. The superior rooms are in a old, back building which you don't realise in the foyer, only when you get onto the floor. These rooms are old and run down. Not 4 star. First non smoking room stunk of cigarettes and had heaps of butts on the verandah. Moved to another superior and housekeeping woke us up the first two mornings at 7am with noisy cleaning of roooms next door and across the passsge. Had enough, complained and was upgraded to deluxe room in new building. Much better, what I would expect from a room from Amari, nice and modern with good facilities.
Good points, location to skytrain, breakfast was really good, limo service guy was really helpful and near Aussie pub and in the end we got an apology from management and they did try to make things better.
Would I stay here again, probably not as we found other nationalities very rude to staff at reception and in the restaurant at breakfast. Nobody deserves that kind of treatment. As my wife put it, the Thai spirit was not present in this hotel probably because of rude guests.
