It was our first time back to...
It was our first time back to Bangkok in recent years abd we found Arnoma a great location to explore town as near 2 skyrain stations Chitlom and Siam Square. Easy to get around. The neighbourhood felt safe and easy walking about.
rooms' bit old but definitely comfortable and with everything laid out where it should be... working hairdryer and enough space for toiletries etc..felt at home.
Big C next door is good too for last minute shopping and groceries...

We were assigned a 18 floor...
1st Day:
We were assigned a 18 floor non-smoking room, when we entered the room, the room was filled with unbearable dead cigrate smell and we were advised to go back to the front office with our belongings to change to another room at 11 floor.
2nd Day:
We were quite disappointed with the service when we need internet access, we then found out only rooms in 18 floor to 23 floor are equiped with internet service. We decided on Arnoma because of the location and internet service. This was not made known to us during the check-in process. I guess the remarks and request which I wrote at the point of booking doesn't serve any propose at all.
The staffs are generally nice.

Arnoma is a good hotel and fantastic location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Quite a wide variety of choices for buffet breakfast, but taste is only moderate. A very convenient location to stay in. Recommendable for families travelling with children.
We reserved a 2 nights stay room...
We reserved a 2 nights stay room online via AsiaRooms.com month (long time) prior to our arrival. My credit card was debited immediately upon confirmation of online book. (too soon!)
Our requests were 'early check in' and 'a high floor room' (to enjoy the night scenery). We arrived at the Anorma hotel at about 9 am. To our disappointment, we were given the lowest floor room with the worst location. The room and toilet fixtures were rather old. When we called the service desk for a change in room the following day, we were simply told that no other room was available (we did highlight to the desk our very early request).
Overall, the location was excellent and few restaurant staff were courteous.

Arnoma Hotel is a very good hotel. Its location is very good as shopping and eating areas are just within walking distance. The hotel facilities are very clear and the staffs are very friendly. The hotel room is very spacious and clean. The breakfast has alot of choice.

Excellent location and fairly good rooms. Can't say much for swimming pool and other recreation amenities though. My TV also was very old and didn't work properly most of time. But for clean place to stay and convenience of getting around it is a great value for the money.

Enjoyed the hotel and staff. The transportation provided is a great benefit, excepting the long wait. We had to wait in excess of one hour before we could leave the airport, and then the 10 passenger van had 13 people and all the luggage. I think I will take a taxi next time.
