Our stay in Asia Hotel was frm 29 Mar - 2 Apr 07, we booked 2 Deluxe rooms. Rooms were pretty spacious, only problem is they do not have electric kettle in room for boiling of water. Also, they charge 14 Baht for each bottle of Mineral water (Stored in fridge inside room) you consume. There is also no tissue paper in the room, only Toilet paper, gotta buy ur own tissues for usage in the room.
Rooms are cleaned and towels changed every morning even if you forget to hang sign "Make up room please". Quite attentive service, it's happy coming back to a clean & neatly made up room after long hours of shopping.
Location was perfect as Skytrain was so near (Level 2), it was also in centralized location if you decide to go Wat Pho for sightseeing or Suan Lum for night shopping. Taxi should not cost you more than 65 Baht.
Morning breakfast was sumptous with lots of variety, there's Stir-fried noodles & rice, sausages, porridge, ceral, toast bread, etc. There's ample of seats in Buffet restaurants thus there is no problem even if Hotel is packed with guests.
Hotel staff's service are average. Some are friendly but some are rather cold. Hotel Lounge looks majestic and classy, however only problem is it is infested with mosquitoes. After sitting in Hotel main lounge for only 5 minutes, was stung by mosquitoes 4 times. Pretty bad infestation problems as they have lots of plants inside the Hotel Lounge.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in Asia Hotel & will definitely stay here again in our next visit.

We stayed in Asia Hotel for 4 nights. Generally the hotel need a major makeover. The first room we got had no internet access (as promised by reseption), toilet was not flushing, electric outlet in the bathroom did not work. The thermostat in the shower was wild, with no warning it got boiling hot. TV signals was not good. The next day we got a new room, this time with internet access (expensive), but with all the same errors as the first room I'm sorry to say. Location is very good, with skytrain just outside. We will not stay at this hotel again.
Good value for money although the deco...
Good value for money although the deco is a bit 80's and the reception area is too crowded and unwelcoming. Breakfast wasn't very good at all and the breakfast area is dark. However it was right by the sky train station and our room was big and quiet.
I found the service at the registration...
I found the service at the registration desk to be slow and inexperienced. There were long lines to check-in and to check-out. The whole process of checking-out was slow. It would be nice to have a faster check-out, since must travelers are in a hurry to catch flights, etc.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!
The room was big enough to accomodate...
The room was big enough to accomodate 5 of us. So, it is ideal for group of friends or family to stay in a room. The location is ideal and it is a safe place to live in. Definitely worth the money.

The Asia Hotel was very comfortable with an excellent buffet breakfast, courteous and efficient staff. The location and access to Skytrain made it very convenient for shopping and getting around. Highly recommended.

Location is great and service was good too, many of the bad comments about this hotel is sadly by Singaporeans i don't know why, but overall i feel that this hotel is great
we are happy that the hotel provided...
we are happy that the hotel provided us two adjoining rooms facing the swimming pool on the 7th floor as requested by us. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are ample
food at the buffet breakfast. The hotel is located near the MBK and the Paragon shopping malls. The skytrain station is connected directly to the 2nd floor of the hotel. A reasonably priced hotel to stay in Bangkok.
I must say the location is good...
I must say the location is good but the service is horrible. Although the young ones are helpful, the older staff simply has a poor attitude. The incidents are as follow:
1. There are quite a number of occassions, I went to the front desk and wanted to ask for some information. When the older staff saw me, they simply walk away as I am transparent.
2. I wanted to go to Sempang Market and the older staff told me to take BTS to Mo Chit. I was puzzled and I reconfirmed with him is Sempang somewhere there as I remember that Chatuchat Market is there. I even reconfirm with him twice and he say yes abruptly.
3. The outrageous thing is that when I want a taxi to the airport, the staff asked me whether can I pay $900 baht by normal taxi. I told him no and I want to pay by meter.
Well the compliments to the younger staff is that one of them assisted me in calling up the shop of where I want to go as she do not know where is the place. She even went to the extra mile in translating the name of the place to Thai in case I need to take cab. This is something I call service.

Real value for money..not posh,simple,service great,people--so polite!!
Food--YUM!!good price too for us..we had a teenager!
10 mins walk to the best shopping place..MBK and others not far.
2 mins--to 7/11 shop to buy water and print photos!!
next door a lady sold iced coffe,which I miss!!
Terrific,THANKS to all stuff--will be back one day.
