It is a perfect location with the skytrain just outside the hotel, easy to get around. The customer service is excellent. They willing to help you as much as they can.

Although the decor is from the mid...
Although the decor is from the mid 1980s rooms are ok to sleep in. The location of this hotel is great as is right at the sky train station close to Siam (where all the shopping centres are). Standard rooms have hardly any insulation so hard to sleep due to lots of noise in corridors & from other rooms. Very busy hotel, great restaurant with fantastic selection of meals. however breakfast is ordinary. Taxi drivers outside hotel are rip off merchants also if Bangkok drivers hear that you are going to this hotel they think you're King Pharuk, so suggestion if they're not using their metre or they're a tuk tuk tell them you want to be dropped off at the sky train station (outside hotel) they usually don't put 2+2 together. Don't expect a lot & you will be satisfied.

Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel staff very pleasant. Facility itself needs updating. Carpet smells mildewy - need a better way to air out the humidity. Shower head is very low, ok if you are short. Free breakfast is probably good if you are not vegetarian. No vegan options at all. All I had was fruit and a bit of fried potatoes. Nothing in the way of vegan protein. They should think about including some TOFU in the menu or some other healthy alternatives. Everything seems high fat/high carb, with added sugar. Nice that a 711 store is just around the corner to get bottled water and other necessities. Overall hotel room price is ok and location is great. Very convenient to sky train and not far to walk to Siam Square. This hotel is the equivalent of a Days Inn or Super 8 in the US. Recommend if you are looking for a budget hotel to crash in and not expecting anything fancy.

Overall the stay is great and of...
Overall the stay is great and of course we love the acessibilty of the train to other places in bangkok. Would recommend to anyone that wants to do shopping in the traffic crowding city.

i asked for a smoking room and...
i asked for a smoking room and was not given one and i had to suffer being told of by pepole and when i asked for a nother room you gave us one room with to single bed which made our stay miserable and i felt this was wrong

Only good thing about Asia Hotel was...
Only good thing about Asia Hotel was its location - right at the skytrain station, which was very convenient. Other than that, the rooms smelt really bad - an old, stale, musty kind of smell - and the furnishing/decor/carpet etc was so old. Definitely due for an upgrade. Not the best way to finish off our beautiful holiday in Thailand.

Again, one can avail of cheaper rates when booking via Asia Rooms. Staying in Asia Hotel for budget travellers is really caonvenient, easy, and worth it! My husband and I enjoyed the spacious room and we were really happy that we found this hotel over this website. The comfort room is also big and well lit and is equiped with a bathtub. Breakfast is not that great but is edible. You can also get out and enjoy the hawker food outside late at night and a 7-11 store near the hotel, plus there's a potable water in the comfort room! No need to buy water outside. The hotel is directly connected to the Skytrain via its 2nd floor lobby. I could say that the security is somewhat lax, but there's really no need to put up extra security since I felt safe within the premises of the hotel. The hotel is located in Ratchetewi Station, 2 stations away from Siam Paragaon and 3 stations away from Erawan and Central. I will definitely be back in this hotel! Great Great Great Stay!

The room is not sound proof, so every early morning and late evining I heard people were talking, and it as noisy. Any, the location is perfect to go anywhere by sky train.

Stayed at this hotel twice now, Location...
Stayed at this hotel twice now, Location is awesome, straight onto sky train and away you go to easy. Rooms are basic but clean enough, pools are good after big day out. Breakfast is fine. I would stay there again no problems. If you are expecting 5 star look elsewhere, this place is good value for money.
