The only thing that this hotel has...
The only thing that this hotel has going is its close proximity to a BTS station, and reasonable room size. The water heater stops at midnight, and we had to shower in cold water on 2 occasions (out of 4 nites). My wife was bitten by red ants on a couple of occasions which caused swelling. The air con temperature was freezing and the controls do not work.

We have been going to the Asia...
We have been going to the Asia hotel for the past 8 years due to its fantastic location. You can step onto the skytrain from the hotel and you are in shopping heaven in Siam Square. There has been alot of changes made within the hotel in relation to how it treats its customers! It's become so popular and busy that its lost its personal touch! Although the changes need to be with the room decor. They need updating and remodernising! Glad to see the lovely Christine has been finally promoted from lift attendant to head of security, although this woman has such a great personality and wonderful with the customers, we feel she needs more promotion and more contact with the customers - maybe Manager, deputy! We will continue to come back, but please update the rooms. Sauna fantastic & great room service! Bell boys are so helpful. What happened to the free welcome drink? Your hotel taxi service is poor. Its too expensive and lets down your hotel. If you ran a customer shuttle service from the hotel to the airport, you could make lots of money! Mark & Evelyn from London

I had a good time at Bangkok...
I had a good time at Bangkok during our National Day holidays. I was surprised that I could check in early (around 10am) instead of the usual 2pm at normal hotels. The service at the front desk is good and efficient. I did not need to wait for too long in order to check in. I was also presently surprised when I reached my room as the hotel staff had painstakingly folded a pair of swans using the face towels and scattered rose petals on my bed in the shape of a heart (as we're honeymooners). The down side is the long walk from the elevator to our room and the old furniture in the room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel as the location is good and it is value for money. Will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Bangkok!

Standard twin room; stay 22 - 26...
Standard twin room; stay 22 - 26 July; room size was reasonable, but furnishings are old and bathroom could use renovating. Twin beds placed together rather than separated. Shower temperature difficult to control. The central location, with a second floor access to a subway stop, is the best part of this hotel. Also cheap restaurants, food stalls, 7-11 stores, Internet cafe and traditional massage parlors nearby. Nice to see card keys replacing the large plastic keychains from last year. Check-in was slow again. Maybe I always catch them at peak times but it seems this process could be improved. Room change to a non-smoking floor took a few hours of coordination. But the front desk was very helpful nonetheless. Housekeeping service excellent. Breakfast buffet is somewhat plain but adequate. The hotel is decent value for longer stays. I'll return for sure.

I have been staying at this hotel...
I have been staying at this hotel whenever I visited Bangkok during the past years and notices that the overall upkeep of the hotel has been deteriorating. The superior room comes with no kettle and almost zero toilet amenties.

My stay at the Asia hotel was'nt...
My stay at the Asia hotel was'nt on injoyable one,first impression was good, the hotel is quite large its a few minites away from all amenities trians ,buses etc and looks clean untill the third morning of my stay a cockroch walked across my breakfast table, that was the end of breakfast for the rest of my stay.I find the reception staff rude and unhelpfull,Its unlikely that i would stay at this hotel again.

the location of the hotel was perfect but the room was really not suitable for couples. i requested got a Queen size bed but your front office staff told me that there is only 2 single bed join together. Dhe told me that even upgrading to a higher room, I will still not get a Queen size bed. In the end, my 2 nights was spend squeezing into 1 bed with my husband. and the pillow was so soft that both of us had stiff neck. I will not reccomend this hotel to those newly honeymoon couples. the week before I was staying at DMA hotel with my friends and the room was really much more comfortable thou the location may not be as good. The room was clean and neat, and kudos given for their welcome presentation of the room upon arrival. However, their buffet breakfast wasn't that nice and the person who made the eggs wasn't as professional as the one I had in Phuket. Overall, good location and great place for people who plans to shop and shop.

Location is perfect for Business,Shopping and Getting around Bangkok City. Especially this hotel's second floor is connected with BTS Light Train Station which enables its guests to visit Shopping Malls such as Siam Paragon and Central World Plaza,Business Districts and Places of Interests such as Thai Boxing Stadium and Night Bazaars and to transfer to River Cruise Ships and MRT subway line. My room was spacious and clean with reasonable price. I would definitely stay at Asia Hotel in my future trips to Bangkok. I appreciate "Asia Rooms.com" for helping me book at this hotel.
