I was staying at the Asia Hotel just in early July. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were renovated and were not as old as what I read from the forum. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The only thing which I found not that friendly is the flight of steps from the hotel leading to the BTS sky train. For the elderly and also for us with a young child in the pram, it was definitely not user-friendly. The breakfast was also tasty on the whole and I would definitely be back provided they do not raise their room rates after their renovation is complete.
I requested for a pillow but they didn't send until the next moring. That night, I called up twice and the hotel staff told me it's coming, until the next morning, they did not send me the pillow! I waited till dozed off...
No kettle to boil water also. However it's convenient if you travel around bt BTS.
The only advantage of this hotel is the location (near MBK and Sky train station). Service don't seems to improve compared to my stay 2 years ago. They do not provide free drinking hot water in the room (which is min standard I expect). Be prepared to pay for it.
This hotel is in a great location with easy access to the Skytrain and close to major attractions. A beautiful Lobby area and a very pleasant Coffee Shop.
I was surprised that for the money you pay you get quite a decent room, the Hotel is very conveniently located next to a Skytrain station but also 10 min walking distance from MBK and bout the same to Pantip Plaza which is great. The breakfast was nice with the usual continental style. Also access to and from the new airport is straight forward as the hotel is off a man road so there are always taxis available. On my return to Thailand I will definitely stay again.
This hotel has excellent location. The rooms were nice but the only thing which upset me was there were 3 of us travelling and we had booked for a triple room. But unfortunately the hotel has only double or twin rooms and they pushed in an extra bed for the 3rd person which takes up a lot of space in the room. But it was alright as we were out most of the time. And also we find the bellmen were not too helpful when we asked them for directions.
well, its a wonderfull nite out there.love ur hotel.its very convinece.everything is good, but bathrooms shower, was horrible.i went to ask one of ur staff about the shower. but its looks like noting was being done.i think u should do something for that problems. i love and enjoyed staying there. thank for all the good service..i 'll come again in the end of the year...
