It was a disappointment when I reported that the bath tub could not drain the water fast enough and no service was given until I came back in the evening and asked to speak to the duty manager that both the DM and enggineer came to attend to it which was abit too late.
There was no proper drawer for keep clothing.
No complimentary drinking water nor kettle for boiling water.
This is bad.
The rooms at Asia Hotel are very old & needs refurbishment. The hot/cold water control in the bathroom does not work well at all. Note : I have stayed at least 4 times & all this while it is the same : (
The plus side is that it has drinkable water ( via a cooler ) & a hairdryer in the room. : )
The best thing about this hotel ( and why I always stay in it ) is the very close proximity ( in fact joined ) to the Rachathewi BTS Station.
I recently stayed at the Asia hotel for 9 nights. A longer stays than normal some business some pleasure. What puts the Asia ahead of all of its competitors is the fact it links up to the Sky train. I did not try all of the restaurants on site the ones I did use where first class with excellent food and service. I don’t think that you can find better value for money anywhere. I love Bangkok and would not stay anywhere else but the Asia.

This is the second time I have stayed at Asia Bangkok. The room seems to have been renovated and was very comfortable. Was conned thinking the 2 bottles of water were complimentary, but was charged for them.
The breakfast was great as was the service. I tired to book this hotel some 3 weeks later but was booked out so had to settle for a condo...Omni Serviced apartments near Nanna station
From the minute you arrival at the hotel you feel this is a one time hotel. This hotel is without any kind of heart.
We will never come back.

Great Hotel, Very clean, friendly staff and excellant location.. Only one slight problem, breakfast was way too early... I like to sleep in a little and missed it everyday....
Hotel location is perfect! BTS is just at the 2nd floor. Easily access to MBK, Erawan Shrine .. etc. With BTS, you can go anywhere you want! The room size is just nice. Not too big, not too small. To me, I don't really spend much time in hotel so everything in Asia Hotel is just nice as long as you are not a fussy person. The breakfast is fine with me, not really fantastic but my boyfriend like it very much.
Direct link to BTS station is absolutely a great convenience, especially during inclement weather. Room is above average considering the price, however the toilet condition is quite bad, bathtub is dirty and height of the showerhead is not adjustable. Room service did not replenish soap and shower cap. The free breakfast is not bad except the service attitude of some waiters and waitresses, which deem to be quite rude. One incident saw them taking salt and pepper from an occupied table (when adjacent table runs out) without consultant the diners.
The location is really great. The hotel is just beside the Ratchatewi BTS station (1 stop away from Siam BTS station) and within walking distance to MBK. Definitely value for money and convenient.
