Standard room size was fairly small, but location was good. MRT station outside hotel and main Bangkok railway station across the road. Nice little restaurants nearby. Breakfast (included) was fine. I have no complaints, only that there were no coffee/tea making facilities in room. Clean. Good value for money. I would stay again. We paid small amount to have a 6pm checkout which was really convenient as we had a late night flight. Taxi to the airport was much more expensive if booking from counter at hotel door rather than off the street. ??Seems to be different prices if they use toll freeway or slower road without tolls. Make sure toll price is included in rate negotiated. Can be very slow in traffic if not on toll freeway.

THE HOTEL HAD RECENTLY BEEN RENOVATED. ROOM IS CLEAN AND HOSPITALITY REASONABLE.
THERE IS A STRANGE UNPLEASENT ODOUR WHEN YOU STEP OUT OF THE LIFT TO THE HOTEL LOBBY .. SHOULD BE DEODORISED!
TOILET SHOULD BE EQUIPPED WITH A HOSE NEXT TO THE WC. THIS WILL BE MORE MUSLIM FRIENDLY

The hotel was fine but I was annoyed by the rude service at registration. They demanded an extra 500TBH as I had a partner. I refused to pay as your voucher clearly said I had booked for two adults. After an arguement they finally gave me the key and said they would settle it in the morning with you. The staff in the morning were friendly and made no mention of the extra charge!

My first time stayed in this Bangkok centre hotel was in 1991, I personaly like this hotel because of the location is so close to the MRT station now, from here it can be transfered to BTS to get around in Bangkok, the rooms are kind of aged,but since they are keep maintainance well enough for staying with the buget price,so I would say it's ok'd to be reconmended anyone looking for convenient while traveling in Bangkok.
