My one pet hate is shower curtains, and this hotel continues to use these.
Overall the hotel offers an excellent choice with the various food outlets, breakfast was excellent.
The prices charged for things like coffee, are rather
expensive.
The staff as a whole were excellent, very helpful,and
always cheerful.
The room is clean, tidy and spacious. Hotel staff are courteous and friendly. Breakfast is good, a lot of choices. Location is near to the train station, which is easily accessible to all the main tourist areas. Also near to major shopping area i.e. Robinsons, Jusco and Carrefour. Will definitely stay there again.
AS a traveller , i was quite happy about the location of the hotel however i found the room was not cleaned properly. the amenities were incomplete. the meals served for breakfast lunch and dinner were always the same. there were not too many choices of dishes to enjoy.
In spite these little things i noted, i would like to say that the room service, front desk, concierge staff were all friendly and helpful.
Its a good hotel in nice location. Over all its very good, but some things needs improvement like Vey few channels available on tv, House keeping staff perform below standards. Good things are location, overall facilities, good menun in breakfast and courteous front office staff.
I must say I like this hotel because I have stayed there many times and it is also near to my H.O. along Vidabahi Rangsit Road.Overall, The rooms are reasonably big and clean and near to many shopping centres and eateries. I will give my score of 4 out of 5 for the overall assessment of Emerald Hotel. If I should visit BKK again I will definitely stay at Emerald Hotel again. The only inconvenience during my recent stay is because they have given me a twin-bedded floor on the 09th floor and is a connecting room and I could hear door closing whenever the occupants are back. The latch on my side is quite loose and seems to drop off soon.
I have stayed here a number of times and like the hotel. This past trip, I was in a room that did not have a working key card and had to look for a maid to get in my room each time I left. This was iconvenient as I was in and out of the room a number of times. Except for that, I like the hotel and would probably stay again.
I stayed at this hotel the 2nd time. The front wing is older and the back wing is more new. They have nice lobby, so if you have Customers or someone picking you up. This is a pretty good choice.
I actually have good impression with this hotel.
But not until when I left my clothes in the hotel and request to pick it up the next day as I have already check out. I was told that there's isn't any clothes at all. This just prove that the housekeeping is not honest.
To make it worst, when I check out on the last day. while waiting for the lift, every unit is full of passengers. When we press for it. the lift don't even stop at our floor when it's empty;it's just went up to the 14th floor to fetch more people down to the 3rd floor. I think they are having a function booked by outsider. But this is ridiculous cause there is this Manager who keep pressing the empty lift to go right up to 14th floor to fetch more passengers. How about other guests who is staying at their hotel? Don't they have the privilege to use it too?
Quite disappointed for a 4 stars hotel.
It will be good to equip rooms with Wifi service free.
Find the charges for using their LAN facility a little pricey.
Welcome friuts platter will be delighted for guess upon arrival.
Overall, the stay is pleasant
The hotel is reasonable and clean, it was a good stay. The stay could have been better if the hotel didn't scare me with charging 200 baht to use each pair of slipper provided in the room. The TV set is placed a bit too high for your viewing comfort.
