What a fantastic hotel! The Emerald Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Bangkok city centre. It has a underground station stop practically on its doorstep, which makes everywhere easily accessible The hotel itself is quite a traditional one offering excellent service. The rooms are big, and the hotel has a range of facilities. It even has its own roof top swimming pool and a fantastic spa. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I return to Bangkok.

AirCon little noisy. Full during breakfast (7am). Hotel not so well known by taxi driver. Take address in Thai language.
Overall good choise.
Since over twenty years of Bangkok visits, I have known this hotel from outside. Stayed for the first time this time and quite impressed by its comfort and efficient service. Less than 30 minutes from Suvarnabum airport and five minutes walk to the subway station. Will probably stay next time, too.

The hotel reception looks grand and beautifully decorated. Hotel people are friendly and courteous.
As such the rooms are fully booked thus sometimes check-in having a slight delay.
Good location as it is near exit 3 of Huay Hwang MRT station. Good for business entertainment as there is KTV, Disco, Lounge and Massage Center in the surrounding area.
