Very good hotel for the price.The room...

Very good hotel for the price.The room was large and clean and the bathroom large enough. Also only 130 baht from the airport including tip( but not the 50 baht airport taxi fee as we caught a taxi from departure level).Breakfast was very good. My wife who is Malaysian was very impresed. We only stayed one night as we were off to Lao the next day. Relatively close to Central Lat Prao for shopping but quite a long way from other major shopping centres. Will stay again for a one or two day stay.If you are into the massage scene many parlours nearby mainly catering to asian and thai people.Not sure if Farang is welcome to these establishments.

During my stay on Setpember 26 thru...

During my stay on Setpember 26 thru October 10 was nice but could have been better. House keeping and staff was very pleasant. For my room, I would see bugs during my stay in the room. The continental breakfast was ok and it was more cattered to the chinese because food was limited and was not enough of a selection of food choices. Sometimes when I would come up to eat at 8:30am there was hardly any food and that many tourist had eaten and the tables were still dirty and not cleaned. I wish that the night club Sparks was open and was sad that it was going to stay closed, so during my stay I had to go to other places in Bangkok. I hope that the hotel could make these minor changes, since I did like the location of the hotel.

Nice & Clean Hotel. Walking distance to MRT and Carefour. Deluxe room is big and the safebox inside the room can use credit card to open. Value for money.

Emerald in Bangkok : The room is...

Emerald in Bangkok : The room is spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Suggest that you have breakfast table for one or two people instead of the table for 10. Sometimes guests like to have a quiet morning to have breakfast and sharing table in the morning is not a good idea.

Emerald in Bangkok, Nice hotel with good facilities but I've been skipping the breakfast in order to keep being in a good mood. In overall it's a good place with very friendly staff.
