Upon arrival we were made to wait a long time as the senior receptionist who should have been able to speak some good English was not able to locate our reservation, when she did find it she attempted to charge us a much higher rate than the Asia Rooms confirmed rate,
We were assigned a so called deluxe room as per our room confirmation and when we entered the room, the carpet was dirty, full of marks and crumbs and litter, we called down to reception only to be told something will be done, and after 45 minutes we just gave up, a maid came after that with a hoover/vacuum cleaner that did not work, she went off and got another one which did not work either.
I informed the duty manager of the above and all she could say was we can change the room!! by then all we wanted to do was to have a good night sleep as we had an early start in the morning to the airport.
The hotel is old and shabby and not worthy of a 4 star rating.
I will never stay there again, let alone recommend it to any of our friends.
