Good central hotel close to Skytrain stop
On arrival they didn't have the type of room I booked and they actually upgraded me to a suite - which was pretty amazing!
It was two rooms with another small area as a kitchen. TV with English football, mainstream sport on - all round very comfortable. Good area for working and good fast wifi. (normally payable at 200MYR a day - so not too expensive - but thrown in for free, which was very good )
Room had great views over Bangkok towards the river and was just a few yards from the local skytrain station - so easy to get to and from the airport. (70 Baht total using the city line each way)
Very extensive breakfast. Staff gave very good advice on where to go out for dinner.

spacious room
the room at Emporium suites is very very very spacious! the breakfast was excellent with quite a few choices from cold cuts, Asian food to American Breakfast. the concierge and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I had my clothes laundered there and the receptionist wrote the wrong room number but the HOusekeeping staff that i called, was very helpful to find my clothes. Had a good time there.. and btw, love the kitchen area. very chic style :) will definitely recommend this hotel to friends :)
Great location, service and view
We were upgraded to a bigger room without asking for it. With a view from the 34th floor, BKK was even more beautiful. Our room had a kitchen and dining area and so we used both for a romantic diner rather then going out. People were friendly, only the breakfast area on the EL floor was very crowded and after the third morning the breakfast was boring. But again, the location with only steps from the BTS station and Emporium shopping complex was great. We would come back and highly recommend Emporium Suits to anybody who likes to stay for some nights.

Location is very good. BTS is just around the corner...very convenient! There're restaurants and message stores nearby and I do not have to take a taxi to famous spots. Hotel people are friendly and helpful.

We have been upgrade from superior to...
We have been upgrade from superior to deluxe room without our request.There are 3 adults and that could be the reason for being upgraded.Close to BTS so it is not a hassle to travel to any of the shopping district. I would say it is expensive. But will definitely stay again if the price is reasonable.

The room we stayed was the smallest room in the entire hotel.It was even smaller than a regular hotel room. It is good for business travelers.Excellent location!
This was our second stay at Emporium...
This was our second stay at Emporium Suites. Having lived in Bangkok for a long time, we knew we wanted to have the ease of the sky train, the superb room and facilities, plus the added plus of being connected to the Emporium shopping center. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful at all times. Parking our rental car was a breeze, too. We will certainly stay there again and highly recommend it!
We chose to stay at Emporium Suites...
We chose to stay at Emporium Suites due to its location as we were attending a conference nearby. It is right in an upmarket shopping centre and close to the BTS skyrail along Sukhumvit Soi, so the location for shopping is very good. Reception/room staff were very helpful and all contact with them was satisfying. The pool is great and there is a nice big well equipped gym with a steam and sauna.
The Deluxe suite (the basic room)was quite big and had a kitchenette and nice BIG fridge. Breakfasts were OK: a fair selection of food and a little Thai food. Staff at breakfast seemed a bit disinterested and kind of ignored the guests. Which is OK until you want some coffee!
This place is mainly oriented to business people staying in Bangkok for a while and has a different feel to a hotel, but it still serves the purpose. However, the rooms are a bit tired compared to a five star hotel, as in bathroom fittings falling off the wall, peeling and cracked paint, rotting doors, dirty shower screen, stained carpets etc.
Overall, Emporium Suites was OK, but I probably wouldn't stay here again, as there are similar priced five star hotels that are much cleaner and have that "hotel feel".
I go many years and many times...
I go many years and many times Emporium Suites, Sometimes I think I must change, more new is always nice.
But the location, size of the room and friendly staff make me going back again, like coming home.
