I stayed in the standard room, and...
I stayed in the standard room, and it was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom fixtures were old, and not installed with any skill. The carpets were well worn, as was the furniture. The TV reception was poor. That being said, the breakfast is very good. The location is excellent for shopping (Pratunam) and getting places....there are western food places close by, (Burger King, The Pizza Company, McDonalds) if you aren't into Thai food. Beware of the taxi drivers who camp outside this hotel. They don't want to use the meters (in other words they want to overcharge you), they will try to take you 'shopping' to some store that they have an agreement with, and generally rip you off. They refused to take me to the airport for example. They also block the entrance from real taxis. I have considered complaining to the Hotel. Aside from this minor annoyance, it wasn't a bad place to stay, but certainly not a luxury hotel.

Th e hotel have to improve a...
Th e hotel have to improve a lot , specialy the room cleaning , i found some insects in the room for example cocruches and the breakfats quality have to improve and from the breakfast resturant waiters need to keep smiling not to show enger to the customers

The plus point is the halal food...
The plus point is the halal food made available in the hotel premises.However,towels were old and worn.Location is good,walking distance to skytrain which make it accessible to many places in Bangkok.Too bad the airport did not have skytrain or mrt services available to the centre of bangkok.

the fisrt hotel is prefect location hotel...
the fisrt hotel is prefect location hotel for me and my family for stay. because near from the shopping centre, Indonesia office embazy, rest. halal is ready, and the food is okey... If someday me and my family go to thailand we would to stay on First Hotel again. Thank you, By the way, for just advice for the hotel is the staff from First Hotel, i think is not really good, they havent give us a full guide about the facility hotel and others. maybe you can advice them for the future. thank you, Lucky

Is my first time stay in this...
Is my first time stay in this hotel and also is my last time.I call this india hotel even my thai friend say so... smelly,u even can hear people talking at next door and also service is bad. All i want to say if can choose other hotel dun stay (First hotel) if not will disappointed.

Travellers are recommended to request for 'Tower...
Travellers are recommended to request for 'Tower Wing' room as we got shock when we booked for the 'Main Wing' total turned off by the ambience of the rooms. We upgraded to tower wing though at least better, still the corridors of the hotel are too diem and uncomfy, would advised the hotel management to do something with the corridors lighting as a guest in your hotel doesn't feel secure at all. This is my 3rd stay at First Hotel, overall i felt the staff are very nice n friendly. Bangkok 14-18 Jan'09
